On Grouse Mountain, part of the North Shore mountain range, is Grouse Mountain Ski Resort, which is a 15-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The height of the mountain is 1251 m, but the main infrastructure is located at an altitude of 275 m. On the Sky Ride Tram funicular, you can climb up 900 meters, from the windows of its trailers, as you climb, a breathtaking view of Vancouver and the ocean opens.
The resort is equipped with 25 slopes of varying difficulty, 13 of them with lighting. There is no need to worry about snow - if necessary, three dozen snow cannons will create it. Other extreme entertainments are also offered here: paragliding, snowboarding and skiing, zip-line - downhill on a rope with a winch. In summer, you can climb the steep Grouse Grind trail to an altitude of 853 m to view the picturesque surroundings.
