Casa Loma - "House on the Hill" - a neo-Gothic castle that Henry Pellat began building in 1911, but did not fully complete. The house had 98 rooms, a library, an enclosed veranda with steam heating, a billiard room, an organ, a wine cellar, a stable connected to the house by an underground gallery. In 1923, having gone bankrupt, Sir Pellat was forced to sell the castle, which had been used for almost a decade and a half, until in 1937 the city authorities decided to create a museum in the castle. On the ground floor of the castle there are rooms for celebrations and entertainment; on the second are living and bathrooms of the owner of the castle and his wife; on the third is a collection of rifles belonging to Sir Henry, here are the rooms provided for the attendants.
