Largo Sao Francisco Square is located in the city center near Sao Paulo Cathedral. It got its name from the church of St. Francis, built in 1644, standing here. In addition to it, there is a Franciscan monastery on the square, as well as the building of the Faculty of Law of the University of Sao Paulo.
