Independence Park
Parque da Independencia
Brazil, Sao Paulo
Independence Park is located in the Ipiranga area in the southeastern part of the city. It was founded in 1975. The park covers an area of more than 18 hectares, on which many species of rich South American flora grow, including many palm trees. But the Independence Park is most famous thanks to the Ipiranga Museum located here, which houses the ashes of the Brazilian King Pedro I.
