The Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo is located near the east side of the Ibirapuera Park (not to be confused with the Museu de Arte Moderna, another contemporary art museum located nearby). It was founded in 1963. The museum presents more than 8 thousand exhibits - paintings, sculptures, engravings, photographs, including the famous self-portrait of Modigliani.
