Awesome place! Here they founded Bulgaria, and baptized it and taught people to read and write - they wrote Cyrillic here. Beautiful place, quiet, calm. You come to the museum and you can walk around the ancient ruins as much as you like - here you have the stones of the khan's palaces, and the ancient square, and secret passages. A kilometer from the museum is Golyama Basilica, where the baptism of the Bulgarians took place in 865. Everything was destroyed by the Byzantines and time, but now everything is being restored and the church has already been rebuilt by a third.→
