University. Kliment Ohridski is the oldest educational institution in Bulgaria since it was founded in 1888. The patron saint of the university is St. Clement of Ohrid, one of the founders of Slavic writing, which is reflected in its name. The modern building of this university was built according to the project of the French architect Breanson for 10 years and was completed in 1934, and in 1985 it was expanded by the construction of two wings. The architecture of the university is of interest - there are many columns, sculptures and bas-reliefs. To date, the university has 3 departments and 16 faculties, it has its own publishing house, as well as sports, scientific and computer centers.
