The largest park in Sofia - Borisov Garden (360 hectares) - was founded at the end of the 19th century. and now bears the name of the Bulgarian Tsar Boris III. European and Bulgarian specialists in landscape design worked on its design. The park has been repeatedly rebuilt and expanded - later a TV tower, tennis courts and
Vasil Levski National Stadium appeared here. There are rare trees in the park, there is a lake, as well as a rose garden, gazebos, alleys and flower beds. In the summer, there are rides and entertainment events for children. There are several cafes at the entrance to the park, and inside there are many shops with souvenirs and delicacies. The Maria Luisa bathhouse also operates on its territory, there are several playgrounds and busts of Bulgarian revolutionaries, writers and poets have been installed. Borisov garden is very loved by the townspeople.
