This is a Bulgarian Orthodox church, which is located in the very center of Sofia in a small square on the corner of Graf Ignatiev and Tsar Ivan Shishman streets. Once it was a mosque and was called the "Black Mosque" because of the dark granite from which the minaret was made. During the earthquake, the minaret was destroyed and the mosque was abandoned. Then this church was a military warehouse, and even a prison. It is forbidden to take pictures in the church, but I can say that the inside is quite beautiful.→
