St. Anastasia Island is located in the Black Sea, 6 kilometers from the city of Burgas. Its area is 1 hectare. There is a monastery on the island, founded in the 14th century. In 1924 it was turned into a concentration camp, and in 1944 a museum was opened in its place.
The island was opened to tourists in 2014. There is a restaurant with Bulgarian dishes, a hotel and a cafe-pharmacy. Every day, a tourist ship called "Cook" leaves for the island.
