The ruins of an ancient fortress on the cape of St. Atanas are one of the attractions of the resort town of Byala. The fortress was built around the 6th century BC. During archaeological excavations, which are still ongoing, scientists have discovered various artifacts: fragments of ancient anchors, coins, a gold ring, etc. All these items are on display in the exhibition hall.
