The House-Museum of Nikola Vaptsarov is a place that keeps the memory of the great Bulgarian revolutionary writer. Here you can see his writings and old photographs, get acquainted with the history of life and work of one of the most famous Bulgarians of the 20th century. In 1952, Nikola Vaptsarov, the only representative of Bulgaria in the entire history of the country, was awarded the Peace Prize, posthumously.
The museum is a historical and cultural monument of national scale. Tourists can visit three halls: one contains an exposition consisting of things related to the poet, and the other two are cinema halls where you can listen to the revolutionary’s poems, as well as lectures about him in three languages: Russian, French and English.
