The Ghent Town Hall seems to have absorbed all possible architectural styles: from Gothic to the late Flemish Renaissance, and from Baroque to Pseudo-Empire. The thing is that it was built much longer than it was intended, with interruptions to collect money: from the plinth, dating from the 12th century, to one of the Renaissance facades of the 17th century. Today, you can get inside the Town Hall only as part of a group with a guide (there is no Russian language). Cost 5 euros (price 2015) Address: Botermarkt square.→
