On the corner of Rue de l'Etuve and Rue du Chene, is perhaps the most famous sculpture in Brussels - Manneken Pis or Manneken Pis. According to one of the many versions, the monument was erected by the father of the lost boy, who, after two days of painful searching, found his offspring in this very "uncomfortable" position. In a fit of joy, the father ordered the construction of a fountain depicting his son in the position in which he found himself.

There are several funny traditions associated with Manneken Pis. On holidays, instead of water, beer or wine is launched into the fountain. And since the 16th century, the tradition has come to dress the baby in different outfits. Today, his wardrobe includes about 800 (!!! ) suits.

It's nice that every year, on August 24, starting from 2007, the symbol of Brussels wears an embroidered shirt and thus congratulates the people of Ukraine on Independence Day.
