The Eureka Tower is the second tallest skyscraper in Australia, at 297 meters. The 91-story residential building was built in four years and named after the uprising at the Eureka mine during the "gold rush". On the 88th floor there is an observation deck, open from 10 am to 10 pm. You can go up there in 38 seconds on a high-speed elevator. From a height of 285 meters, a breathtaking panorama of Melbourne and its environs opens up to 75 km into the distance.
