The building on Karlsplatz, near the magnificent Ringstraß e boulevard, was built in 1870 by Theophilus Hansen in a historic style with columns, tongs and reliefs resembling a temple. The Great Hall of the Musicfair, also called the Golden Hall, is famous for its luxurious finishes.
