The Technical Museum was opened in 1918 to display scientific and technological progress and the evolution of technology. Many technical achievements of mankind are on display on an area of 22 thousand square meters. m. In the halls of the museum the very first technical inventions and even modern nanotechnologies are presented. All 80 thousand of its exhibits are divided into sections: "Physics and Astronomy", "Nature and Knowledge", "Heavy Industry", "Daily Life", "Transport", "Music", "Communications and Mass Media" and others. Many objects can be touched and actuated, so a tour of the Technical Museum will be interesting not only for inquisitive children, but also for adults who are not indifferent to technology.
