In the center of the square is a column of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a bronze copy of the column of 1646, which was installed in gratitude for saving Vienna from the Swedish invasion of 1645. The original sandstone, made by master and sculptor Johann Jacob Pock, has been located in Wernstein am Inn since 1667. Opposite the column, in the perimeter of the square - the church of Am Hof, or the Church of the Nine Angelic Choirs. It was built in the Gothic style at the turn of the XIV-XV centuries, and two centuries later rebuilt in the Baroque style by the wife of the Austrian Emperor Ferdinand III.→
