Danube tower
Donauturm, Danube Tower
Austria, Vienna
Hans Lintel designed the Danube Tower for the Vienna International Garden Exhibition. A 252-meter tower was built in 1964 in the Danube Park. It is interesting in that at an altitude of 150 m there is an observation platform, and even higher there are the revolving Panorama cafe and the Danube Waltz restaurant. 2 elevators quickly lift visitors to the observation deck. In the summer, extreme sportsmen can make bungee jumps from the tower.
