In 2000, in a historic building of the XIX century. opened an unusual sound museum - the House of Music. It is located on 4 floors of this building: on the first floor there is a museum of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra (the team's awards, the history of its creation); on the second floor there are interactive objects that allow you to experiment with sound - "Sonosphere"; the third floor is dedicated to Viennese composers (Haydn, Schubert, Mozart, Strauss, von Webern, etc.); and on the fourth floor there is the Sounds of the Future hall and a gift shop. The museum has a lot of fun interactive and multimedia exhibitions (“Forest of Consciousness”), here you can conduct sound experiments, conduct the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and even record a CD with your own music.
