Votivkirche - Church of the Promise - a neo-Gothic building on the Ringstraß e. It was built in gratitude for the failed assassination attempt on Emperor Franz Joseph. There is also a museum in the church, more precisely in the former court chapel. The most outstanding exhibit is the "Antwerp Altar", which is considered the most significant surviving work of art of this genre. Work on it began in 1460 in Brussels and ended some time later in Antwerp.→
