The Viennese Plague Column is located in the historic center of the city and it is impossible to miss walking here. Erected in 1693 to commemorate the victory over the plague, the column is not original in its idea, as similar pillars were built throughout Europe. Many marble figures of Saints and angels almost completely obscure the pillar itself and surround it with a cloud of statues.→
