Austria, Vienna
The famous "dancing" Ankerur clock is located on the historic Hoher Markt square in the center of Vienna. They were created in 1911 by the artist Franz von Matsch for the Anker insurance agency. The watch is decorated with figures of Adam and Eve, an angel and a demon, a child-life and a skeleton-death. There is a board at the bottom of the clock, and every day at noon for 15 minutes, 12 figures of historical figures pass through it. The appearance of each figure (or pair) is accompanied by music characteristic of the respective era.

Admire the unique anchor clock in Hoher Markt (Upper Market) near St. Stephen's Cathedral. Because of the figures moving to the music, it is sometimes called a music or dancing clock. The 10-meter-long clock is a kind of bridge or arch between the Bauernmarkti and the Ankerhof, which connects the two buildings of the Anker Insurance Company. It was invented and built here in 1911 by the artist Franz von Match. According to the master, the clock symbolizes the ephemerality of time. Therefore, its powerful design is supported on the one hand by the figures of Adam and Eve, and on the other - the Angel and the Devil.

On Hoher Markt Square, which in its history has managed to be both a market and a place for the execution of criminals, the most famous Viennese clock, the Anker, is located. Their clock mechanism was made back in 1911 by Franz Macch, and the figures of Austrian historical figures are mounted in the clock itself. Every hour, one of these figures appears on the dial, and at noon, all twelve.
