The Cathedral of St. Hippolytus is a very interesting architectural monument with a rich history. Over the entire history of its existence, the cathedral was rebuilt many times, changing its appearance, introducing more and more new elements into it. Now the cathedral has its own special unique architecture and a special interior view.
The Cathedral of Saint Hippolyte is one of the main places visited by tourists in the area. It is also one of the city's oldest temples. Its history begins in the 11th century, when a small church was erected on this site. Above Zell am See rises the 36-meter tower of the chapel of the cathedral, which is a symbol of the city and a landmark for both its residents and guests, as you can see it from almost anywhere in the city.
