The park is located on the AL Mamzar peninsula. The park was opened in 1994 and covers an area of ​​99 hectares.
Since the park is located on a peninsula, its entire territory is surrounded by beaches. On the left side are the beaches overlooking the Persian Gulf, and on the right side is the only beach that overlooks the strait between Dubai and Sharjah. This strait is a favorite vacation spot for lovers of scootering and water skiing. Near each beach there are toilets, changing rooms, showers, small commercial kiosks, and qualified lifeguards.
The green zone of the park covers 55,000 square meters, 1,600 palm trees, 300 coconut trees, 6,000 other types of trees and bushes grow here. Lots of flower beds.
In addition to the beach, the park has 3 swimming pools, with a section for children. Near them there are also changing rooms, showers, sunbeds, a bar, a cafe, lifeguards work.
For children, the park offers a wide range of entertainment. There is a children's railway, several playgrounds. Fans of outdoor activities can ride a skateboard or rollerblade - in the center of the park there is a special area, you can rent a bike, there is a football field, basketball and volleyball courts. Picnic areas are scattered throughout the park. There is also a restaurant and cafe in the park.
The park has several interesting buildings, such as an eight-meter observation tower in the center of the park and an amphitheater, on the stage of which various concerts and performances are held.
