The Grand Mosque is located in the historical Bastakiya district, next to the Dubai Ruler's Residence and historical museum. The modern building of the mosque was erected at the end of the 20th century. on the site of the old one, built in 1900. It is decorated with nine large and forty-five small domes. 1200 people can pray in it at the same time. But it is also famous for its minaret - its length reaches 70 m and it is easy to guess the location of the mosque from it. It is decorated with magnificent colored stained-glass windows. Together, all this makes it a unique architectural monument. Entrance here is open only to Muslims.
