Ajman Museum
Ajman Museum
UAE, Ajman
Ajman's main attraction is the 18th century Ajman Fort, a reminder of the land's rich heritage that underpins the country's current prosperity. Until 1970, the fortress remained the residence of the ruler of the principality.
Currently, the fortress houses the Ajman Museum, which stores the jewels of the rulers, things that belonged to them. The exposition of the museum also includes archaeological and ethnographic sections, a collection of ancient weapons, halls dedicated to the history of the police of the Emirates. Of particular interest to visitors may be the reconstruction of the life of the past and traditional crafts using "wax figures".
