The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center was officially opened by His Serene Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Saeed Al Nadeen, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi on February 18, 2007. The total area of the Center is 94,000 sq.m., of which 28,000 sq.m. exhibition space, including 7 exhibition halls, 2 conference halls (for 1,500 sq.m. and 800 sq.m.), 9 meeting rooms, 2,000 sq.m. catering, 12 shops, as well as offices of various companies (airlines, banks, pharmacies and others). On an area of 12,000 sq.m. the offices of the leading exhibition organizing companies are located: Reed Exhibitions, Middle East, DMG World Media, CMPi, Turrent Middle East, etc. By the end of 2008, another 27,000 sq.m. exhibition space with a ceiling height of 10 - 13.5 meters and a Congress Center for 250 - 6,000 seats with a multi-level acoustic system, a kitchen plant designed to prepare 10,000 servings daily, 20 meeting rooms, as well as a multi-level parking for 8,450 cars.
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center is widely known in the world not only as an exhibition, but also as a place where you can have a good time. This is not only a beautiful architectural structure built according to the laws of high building technologies of the West, but also, perhaps, the only exhibition center in which one third of the entire space belongs to visitors.
