This is one of the most unique forts in the Emirate, as it was built on the water. He is almost 200 years old, before he placed up to 15 sentinels who monitored the observance of the country's borders - we often passed him, but did not stop on purpose, he is already perfectly visible.

This fort is the founding place of the city of Abu Dhabi, which was previously called Abu Zabi (in fact, in honor of this place ("Father of the gazelle"), the whole city was named, because it was there, during the hunt for a gazelle, that a fresh spring was found water, around which a settlement arose, which has now grown to a million-strong city (at the end of 2018, the population of the capital of the Emirates is 1.145, 000 people)
