Not far from the Municipality building is one of the famous works of Jaume Plensa. He conceived these figures on pillars as a symbol of the seven continents of the planet Earth. The author drew inspiration from images of saints and philosophers who preached to the people, sitting on top of pillars in the Byzantine Empire. The same figures adorn Place Massena in French Nice.→
