Pearls of Poland with Riga LAIMT?RE
Pearls of Poland with Riga LAIMT? RE
The pearls of Poland, the high Tatras and the thermal springs of Zakopane! This is the full name of the tour. From 09/22 to 09/25/2017. Well, the main attraction for us was the Wieliczka salt mines!
Departure from Riga, LAIMT? RE company. Here, however, turned out to be an overlay! "Warm" tour, this time, did not learn, so we decided to close the old "gap". Everything was done quickly, so I didn’t look closely and, having typed Velichka, he received the Antario company with which he concluded an agreement. I won’t tell you much, but, as a result, I’ll say that I once again received confirmation that you don’t need to do business with travel agencies, but you need to contact a tour operator!
Departure to Riga from Tallinn at 22.30 and at 2.50 we are in Riga at the bus station, we go to the station building to wait for the remaining time.
Impressions, feelings, recommendations: so far we have just reached Riga and it turned out in the normal mode, as in previous times. So I won't repeat myself. True, I note that the “climate” at the station has shifted for the worse, it has become colder and dirtier.
Day one.
At 5.25 we set off towards the Origo shopping center. We were a little worried, because. there were not enough people and they did not immediately decide on the place where the bus should come. The bus arrived at 5:55. An old Mercedes, the seats recline with difficulty, there is not much comfort, everything is old, but technically the bus is in good order. Coffee and other hot drinks were not offered, the TV was also not turned on. The bus is only half full. We left at 6.23 waiting for someone, but did not wait. Along the way, in Panevezys, we picked up another pair. The language of communication is Latvian, because the majority understands him, and such an installation was for an accompanying person from a tour operator. At our request, they began to add the necessary information in Russian, and then Russian became the second language.
Latvia and Lithuania were planned with stops for the toilet (the first stop at 7.45 was still in Latvia). There was a sightseeing tour of the places passing by.
Stop for lunch at the Abro bar (in the Augustow district) at 12.03. They understand Russian, you can pay in cash (euro and zloty) and by card. Prices are very affordable. If desired, all the half-eaten can be packed in a box and taken with you.
Warsaw was reached at 16.30.
For dinner, at 19.01, we made a stop in Wolbuzh (Kompleks Gastronomczno-Hotelarski Wolborz www. hotel-gorski. net) . An institution like LIDO is very decent and pleasant. The food is good, they speak Russian, they accept cards, you can also pay in euros.
At 19.30 we passed Chestokhov.
At 22.50 arrival at the place (Eko Motel Na Wierzynka), on the way 17 hours 27 minutes. The hotel is small, single storey. This is not even a hotel, but a complex (see address). We got a room with three beds (one of them is Duble) and a folding chair at the very end of the building. The wall on which the window is, or rather not a wall, but a completely glass window, so they immediately closed it with a curtain. Shower (I really didn’t find soap), TV, refrigerator, table, electric kettle, three chairs, two glasses, hair dryer, three bedside tables, wardrobe in a niche, air conditioning. WiFi is very weak so had to go to the lobby. We arrived late, so dinner was not offered.

Impressions, sensations, recommendations:
On the way, everything was clear, every 3 hours a stop. Dinner turned out to be a pleasant surprise, so the saved boxes from Abro were not really needed. Of course, it would be nice to have information about stopping for dinner in advance. I really liked the place to stop for lunch and dinner in Volbuzh. I liked the hotel, of course, not 4 stars, but its stars are very, very decent. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful!
Day two.
In the morning breakfast at 6.30. Rather, the American standard, i. e. Lots of stuff, including hot ones. Pleased with coffee from the machine.
At 7.15 we went on foot to the object, the distance is short, about one kilometer. Our guide collected cash beforehand, but we decided to pay by card. We went together to the cashier and paid with a card (84 PLN per person plus 10 PLN for permission to film and photograph). Along the way, I note that I did not notice that someone was scolded for taking photographs without permission, i. e. there is no strict control. But having bought a permit, you feel calmer and more involved, and the permit costs not so much money.
We were met by a pre-ordered guide (Urszula Oco? ska), gave us receivers, headphones and indicated the frequency at which the narration will be conducted. Very convenient for us and the guide!
I liked the tour. Inside, everything is thought out and sharpened for the tourism business. Prices for souvenirs are the same both inside and out. After the tour, I had some free time to run around the shops and buy some souvenirs.
At 11.45 departure to Zakopane. Rainy weather, fog in the mountains. At 13.18 we came to the funicular to climb Mount Guba? ó wka. Again, everyone handed over money in advance, but we paid with a card at the box office. We got up just to get up and ride the funicular. At the top, nothing is visible beyond 100 meters and there is nothing special to do there. We went to take a look at the shops and went downstairs. Below is a little shopping and a snack.
At 16.30 departure to the thermal springs Terma Bania, Bia? ka Tatrza? ska. Bought tickets online. Registration and receipt of an electronic key at another counter and there you can go faster. I will describe the complex itself in the reviews on the complex, but here I will say that everything is quite standard and ordinary. We had a bite in terms.
At 20.00 departure to the hotel. At 21.50 arrival.
Impressions, feelings, recommendations: the breakfast is solid and functional! : -)
They did everything right with the salt mines. , in terms of not paying cash. At the mine and around (even in some kiosks) you can pay by card. The excursion itself, in general, was the purpose of the trip and we were satisfied. Photos should be done in a directed way and not anyhow, because. the lighting is not very good. Therefore, it is better to take a picture of yourself a little, where there is good lighting and take the rest on the net.
Looking at the nearby landscapes from the height of Mount Guba? ó wka while riding something, or even climbing, but all this, provided the weather is clear, makes sense. But in the scenario in which we got, we got an almost empty exhaust. You can walk around Zakopane itself, it is quite pleasant there, and you can even do some shopping. Here, however, cash comes in handy, because. it is she who allows you to bargain!
If you believe in the miraculous effect of waters and bathing in warm water for a one-time use, then it makes sense to visit the thermal water complex. And so an ordinary water complex where you can just relax and unwind.
Day three.
7.45 breakfast. It turned out that another group had stopped by and we were given another room. The assortment differed somewhat, but everything is quite tolerable. The only inevitable thing is that there was no coffee machine and, accordingly, the coffee was bad.
At 8.15 departure to Krakow. The guide (Elzbieta) came to our hotel and the tour started right away. The number of people who want to see the sights of Krakow is large, so we had to squeeze among other groups. The guide was heard only when they stopped and gathered all together. The weather didn't smile again. Therefore, the sights were viewed from under an umbrella. I had to spend free time only to inspect something under the roof! : -(
Departure from Krakow at 13.30.
At 16.30 a short tour of Chestokhov, a visit to the Cathedral of the Black Madonna on Yasnaya Gora. A lot of people.
At 18.00 we went to the TESCO store. We bought gifts and had a bite there.
At 20.20 departure from the store and at 20.40 check-in at the hotel. (Hotel Bonaparte, ul. Osada M? y? ska 3/5.42-280 Cz? stochowa, wojewó dztwo ? l? skie, Polska. tel. tel: +4.34-361-85-32; tel. / fax + 4.34-360-70-10; tel. +4.501-072-540; bonaparte@buziaczek. pl; http://hotel-bonaparte. pl/; https://tr-tr.facebook.com/pages/Bonaparte-Hotel-Czestochowa-Poland/216949861690977)
After arrival, it was proposed to have a snack, but no one agreed. We got apartments. Those. the level is much higher than the declared stars. WiFi is present. The hotel is cozy, although the entrance to it is nondescript.
Impressions, feelings, recommendations: Breakfast at the hotel is acceptable.
We were satisfied with the tour of Krakow, but did not enjoy it because of the weather. It was possible to pay everywhere with a card.
Like the tour of Krakow, the tour of Jasna Gora was a bonus to the tour, and we, not only did not regret it, were satisfied. We've driven past many times and stopped by. The cathedral is chic - there is something to see. I’m not talking about those who believe at all - for them this is a holy place!
The store is appropriate and timely.
The hotel is good, the staff is friendly.
Fourth day.
6.45 breakfast. Not plentiful, but sufficient and in line with the level and expectations. Buffet. Muesli, sausages, sausages, scrambled eggs, cheese, tea, coffee, cocoa (though soluble). The restaurant is decorated in Bonaparte style and is very cozy.
Departure at 7.23.
At 10.50 we arrived in Warsaw, but the tour did not take place, because the city was blocked in connection with the marathon. Sorry.
At 12.43 we stopped for lunch at Mazowiecka Island (Maciejowa Chata, Stare Lubiejewo, ul. ? om? y? ska 3
07-300 Ostró w Mazowiecka, Polska, Kom. +4.512 09.007 Tel. +4.29 7.526 16, e-mail: kontakt@maciejowachata. eu) Organized in much the same way as in Abro, so you can have a bite to eat. True, I didn’t really like it - a neutral soup from a briquette, a long wait for fish, there were no chicken dishes.
At 18.10 we made a stop in Augustow, had a bite to eat and looked around the canals.
At 22.50 arrival in Riga.
Further, waiting for a scheduled flight to Tallinn at the station and at 7 in the morning at home.
Impressions, sensations, recommendations:
I recommend the hotel.
Warsaw refused - it's a pity, I would like to wander a little bit. Compensation in the form of the Augustow channels does not hold out. Of course, we can say that this is a force majeure, as is the case with the weather in Krakow and the Tatras, but one could immediately know that Warsaw is not an entry gate on this day!
The place for lunch is not exactly on the highway, you need to go a little deeper, but it's quite decent.
TOTAL:
Confirmation of previous experience - do not deal with a travel agency, go to a tour operator! The mood was spoiled, but the timely information taken made it possible to level the damage.
The tour operator LAIMT? RE organized a wonderful, thoughtful, balanced, budget trip. We were accompanied by Aelita Romdani, who deserves praise!
The professionalism of the drivers ? irts and Mundis should be noted, they simply did their job well!
