For transit through Lithuania, a preliminary online application will be required (website https://keleiviams.nvsc.lt/en/form). From Ukraine, crossing the Polish border for transit is possible only for residents of the European Union and Schengen countries and members of their families. Transit is also allowed for those with the right of long-term or legal stay in the EU and the countries of the SC and their family members. There are no systematic border controls at the internal EU borders (Poland-Lithuania and Lithuania-Latvia borders). Only random checks are possible.
