Poland for a day
I want to share our trip to Poland, to Malbork Castle from Kaliningrad.
This is not the first time we go on vacation to Kaliningrad, but this time we had visas and we decided to take a guide and go to Poland for one day, chose the Malbork-Frombork-Elblag route and drove off. Our guide Irina correctly calculated the time of departure and we passed the border in just 30 minutes and ended up in the same b. East Prussia. At 11-00 we were in Malbork Castle - the largest Castle in the world, and disappeared into the history of the Middle Ages. Time stopped, we just wandered around and listened to the audio guide, but without Irina's additions, it would have been difficult, we would have lost more time.
Lunch in a medieval tavern completed our cognitive rest.
Then we moved to Frombork, to the castle complex, where the tomb of Copernicus is located in the church. We got to an amazing concert on an old organ in the church, we were alone, but the priest played for us! Feelings are overwhelming! Then we went to the Copernicus Museum, saw the Foucault pendulum and climbed to the observation deck. Yes, the picture of the bay, the whole Foombork and the Castle is breathtaking.
How everything was cool and to my liking.
We got an extraordinary trip in one day, bought all sorts of little frills, dined with flasks, bought some branded cosmetics. Well, how without it? And in the evening at 22-00 we were already in Kaliningrad.
Yes, holidays in Kaliningrad are very pleasant and profitable, after all, there are few cities you can go to Europe for one day (Lithuania and Poland).
