We flew to Boracay on June 29, settled in Calipso Dive Resort, which is located at the 3rd boat station, the hotel initially liked it, we were very tired and immediately went to bed after a shower! On the second day of our stay, while we were sailing around the island, money disappeared from the safe in the room (14.500 pieces and 900 yuan!!! ). There were also rubles and dollars, they were not touched and the documents were left. The hotel managers stated that this could not be (when checking in, she assured that no one would be able to open the safe if we changed the code)! The owner of the hotel did not speak to us. When asked to call the police, they told me to go to the police themselves. When asked to conduct an internal investigation, they said that they had already done everything and found nothing, and the staff had been working for them for a long time, and even if one of the staff was found guilty, they were not responsible for this! Cool service! We went to the police, they listened to us, came to the hotel, examined everything, asked the managers and told us that they couldn’t prove anything, advised us to keep the money in a safe at the reception (be sure to make an inventory and let them sign how much money they received, NOW IT ALWAYS IS SO WE WILL DO OR STORE IN A SUITCASE UNDER LOCK, WHICH WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE! ). The attitude of the management staff towards Russian tourists is dismissive, there was a feeling that they think that we made it all up. It was very unpleasant . . From the moment we told them about the loss, they generally avoided us. Our room was not cleaned anymore even though it was included in the price and paid for! But someone was still in it twice while we were absent, because when leaving, we always closed the lock by 2 turns, and returning, the door was closed by 1 turn, while everything in the room remained as it was .
The hotel itself is in a good location, although it was a lot of barkers, as there is a pedestrian road along the white beach, but it immediately has its own decent piece of beach and sun loungers! The bar and restaurant staff are very friendly and a very good and caring security guard! The minus of the room is that the balcony overlooks a white wall, you can barely see the sea, there are no chairs and nothing to dry swimwear and towels on, ants will always live with you in the bathroom near the sink, the plumbing is very noisy!
