Road trip across Europe 2017. Fields of tulips. Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
After visiting the Keukenhof flower park, I decided to take a ride on the west coast of the Netherlands to the town of Noordwijk. It is only 36 kilometers from Amsterdam. Little country. You will not have time to pick up speed, and already a new city. The roads are great. Road signs sea. Why do they have more cyclists or motorists? Every resident has a bicycle, and most have a car. Families have several cars. Mostly German brands. I did not meet tourists from Russia and Ukraine. Apparently, they are waiting for heat, and the cold here is decent according to my southern concept. Rain and wind, it's easy. The city is located almost in the south of the country, on the very shore of the North Sea. Having traveled all over it in a short period of time, I wandered along the sandy beach with houses. Interesting and beautiful. Really, when do they bathe? On the way back I drove along the fields of tulips. They look beautiful.
In my own Kuban, I am used to grain and vegetable fields, and in Norway there are many tulip fields. I stopped near each field to admire the beauty of flower carpets. The town of Noordwijk is not big, beautiful and windy. Huge sandy beaches, endless to the horizon. Very calm environment and high prices. I continue to admire the Netherlands.
