The sands and dunes of Namibia (CONT'D). Journey to Africa 2018
Safaris in the sands and dunes of Namibia are so interesting that I had to continue the photo shoot. Didn't expect the dune ride to be scary. Driver-guide John raced his Nissan with us like a Paris-Dakar race. The girls squealed, and my heart went to the heels. At high speed, the jeep flies to the crest of the dune, hovering in the air with its front wheels, and then nods and flies down. This is something indescribable feeling of extreme. I have never had such a safari in my entire life. True, I remember the Karakum Desert, when we drove brand new Zhiguli eights, but it was not so scary, but the sands could carry us with cars completely to the very roof. The sands and dunes of Namibia are perhaps the most majestic and huge in the country. It's hot, but on the dunes the sand is like a hot frying pan. John failed to get to the top of the dune a couple of times, and then we backed down, which is no less scary. We passed by salt deposits. Impressive. I read that our deer in the tundra do not have enough salt, but here it is in abundance. Failed to see flocks of flamingos. They flew somewhere. It's a pity, although I have already seen enough of flamingos. On the dunes, we were in the thick of it, so all the living creatures hid in the sand, although I saw only different traces. My safari ended safely, although it could tip over a couple of times. Once again I was convinced that Namibia is a beautiful country, and it must be seen. I would love to drink that champagne again.
"Mom, mom, this is my dad"? "Let it burn first, like we do, and then we'll see. "
"May stay in Namibia, but she can't make borscht. "
Quiet horror. From the outside it seems that it is not dangerous and not cool.
