For starters, Sari Pacifica Resort & Spa Lang Tenga is not on Redang! And on the neighboring island of Lang Tenga. In total, the network, as we were told, has 5 hotels: 3 with the name Sari Pacifica and two more - Aseania. So: on Redang there is another Sari Pacifica, they differ in both size and style. In total, the network, as we were told, has 5 hotels: 3 with the name Sari Pacifica and two more - Aseania. So: on Redang there is another Sari Pacifica, they differ in both size and style. On Redang - beach chalets with sea views and small two-story buildings, on Lang Teng - houses and one small building with very simple rooms.
From Redang, this island is located at a distance of 7-8 kilometers. It is even quieter and calmer than Redang. That is, for lovers of almost complete privacy. Many people buy just such a package: Redang + Lang Tenga. On Redang - sunrises in the sea, on Lang Teng - sunsets. And in general, the islands of the east coast of Malaysia are undeservedly overlooked, we realized this as soon as we got to these places. Holidays in Malaysia in the summer are wonderful, on the east coast - just the same season.
There are only two hotels on our beach. Actually, Sari Pacifica and another one, newer, noisier, two hundred meters away.
We walked in that direction a couple of times. I will say this: novelty captivates, of course. But this hotel is a building hotel, albeit a small one. Ours are wooden houses-villas in the garden, which are much more comfortable. The villas are a bit strange. The room itself is quite small. And the total area of the bathroom is almost the same as that of the room.
The hotel was half full. Mostly French and Italians, there were a couple of Chinese families. It can be seen that the hotel is worn out, i. e. , not new, but the condition is ok.
Breakfast is quite good, both for Asia and the islands. There is nowhere to go to eat, except perhaps in a nearby hotel. I won't complain, but the food could be a little more varied. However, they did not go hungry.
Big minus - they don't have a coffee machine. That is, there is no brewed coffee at all. None. For us it was a shock. For Italians - and even more so: )). But the manager, Eric, said that the coffee machine was ordered and it is quite possible that this problem will not be in September-October.
But there is wine, beer and make cocktails.
Wifi is working. But at certain hours it is deaf with him. Probably when the whole hotel hangs on the Internet. The Internet is satellite, so there are interruptions.
As for the beach: it is not as wide as on Redang. And, besides the whitest sand, there are quite a lot of coral fragments. This reminds me of the Similans. But this beach is much more private and cozy. However, swimming at low tide is difficult. Because in the water, in addition to sand, there are also corals. At night, the pier is illuminated and you can go to feed the fish, which at night are simply invisible near the shore.
The main fun in the hotel - scubawalking (scubawalking). They put a "bucket" on your head a la a spacesuit and you walk underwater, look at the fish. Pretty funny.
The biggest impression of the holiday - it's sunsets. You lie on a deck chair or a beach sofa, the sea splashes five meters away, and the sun slowly falls into the water. The beauty.
That's just to establish management, add European dishes and free the rooms from the excess. That's where it's perfect.
