I'm not sure if all rooms have this layout, but in mine the bathroom was not separated from the rest of the room. That is, you wash your face practically in the main room, and you get out of the shower room into it. The shower and toilet are separated by loose doors, it is not very convenient to live in this room together, unless you are a romantic couple who wants to see each other even during bath and toilet procedures. The shower door is also leaking.
Breakfast is good, Asian and European dishes are about equal, you can always find something to eat. The hotel has several restaurants in addition to the main one, but you can also eat in the city, there are a lot of eating places around for every taste and budget. A two-minute walk is Jesselton Point Pier, from which boats leave for the islands. This was the main reason for choosing the hotel.
