And in room No. 402 (we lived there for the first week), on the very first day, we had to call a plumber twice to clean the clogged toilet bowl, and then also a maid to wash everything after cleaning. The number had to be changed due to the fact that a smoking couple settled in the neighboring 403, they smoked on the balcony both in the morning and in the afternoon and at night. And the hotel is arranged in the form of a book opened at 90 degrees, it stands at an angle to the sea and the wonderful Caribbean breeze carries all the smog from the balcony of the next room to ours. So you went to bed, opened the balcony door, enjoying the sea freshness, and they returned from the bar to the balcony for cigarettes and you wake up because of the impossible stench (we both don’t smoke, and we are also expecting a baby, my wife is 3 months pregnant) and you go to close the balcony door. The door closed in the room becomes damp and stinks like in the basement! Then you open it again, they wake up and smoke again, you jump up and close it. We look in the information book, it says that smoking is allowed outside the hotel, in the dining room, and on the restaurant terrace. Moreover, there are no ashtrays in the room and on the balcony! We turn to the reception, they say yes you can’t smoke on the balcony, only they say outsight. They say they will deal with the offender. Good. At night the same, bastards smoke! I rise in a chair above the partition and tell them they say let's finish, they don't smoke here! And he smokes me! He says that he talked at the reception and he was told you can! I told him we don't smoke, his wife is pregnant, and he doesn't give a shit! I'm at the reception, they say they'll figure it out, you can't smoke on the balcony! Same thing the next day! Again at the reception, and there they say yes balcony outsight, and there they say you can! I then asked to change the number, changed! Three days later, next to the new number, smokers settled, although they rarely smoke! I want to send a letter about this problem to the RIU Company itself.

The hotel was full of people, they divided it into two shifts at dinner, the table was awesome, we ate, then with one eye some kind of ridiculous show, and the hall for the show did not accommodate everyone, and in the end, the last 10 seconds of the outgoing year were counted out on the dance floor! We didn’t see fireworks or gypsies with bears - ((((
Beach. Very small for such a big hotel. At the peak of loading, it was necessary to take sunbeds until 7 in the morning. And yet, you can sunbathe until 15-15.30, after this time the shadow from the hotel falls on this heel of the beach and there is no sun! But the tan here is magnificent and the sea is Caribbean class! Unless, of course, the weather is lucky. Today it is sunny, tomorrow it will be cloudy, after tomorrow there will be squally wind and rain (raindrops are flying parallel to the ground) Animators are constantly working on the beach and by the pool, lure them into volleyball, a third of the beach is occupied by a volleyball court, various other games, mini football, tug of war, darts , water polo in the pool, etc.
Contingent. Before the new year and immediately after, older and more impressive people rested. But then the youth flooded in. Ages 21-25 and a little older, that is, alcohol is already allowed! Basically, these are groups of guys of 4 - 6 people, pumped up in tattoos, who obviously came to the break! But drunks here at least get drunk! Four liter bottles of tequila, vodka, whiskey, rum hang in the room - they change every two days! Refrigerator full of beer, cola, water, etc. In the bars, drinks for every taste, in short, all inclusive! It looks like a youth American film about some college, five people walk in companies who are cooler. In the morning, a half-eaten hamburger lying in the elevator is a common picture. Yes, and the elevator itself is scratched - "Vasya was here. " We met the Russians in the elevator, he says that yesterday his wife went out onto the balcony, and a man flies past, they say some American jumped out of the window. The people come off mainly from Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Canada, England, the USA, Brazil, there are few Russians, but there are. However, to gather 5-6 people in volleyball in order to kick their ass did not work, compatriots are not athletic-((((

Restaurant. That's what really ***** is a restaurant. The food is tasty, and for every taste. They arrange a variety of evenings of Mexican, Asian, Spanish, Italian and European cuisine. Fresh necks, fruits, desserts - all for five!
Room cleaning and maintenance leave a lot to be desired. Room 402 had cockroaches. Internet only in the lobby at limited speed and for a limited time, with constant freezes. Appeared a week before departure "normal" in the room, but paid 7 days -$50. Before that, only in the lobby.
Conclusion. The hotel resembles a place for a breakaway of young people, and not with the best manners. It needs normal maintenance, it is not intended for families with children, and non-smokers will not be comfortable here. And definitely, in all respects, except for the restaurant, it does not correspond to the declared level!

At first glance, the hotel may seem a little old, but this moment can be attributed more to the specifics of interior design. In the rooms, all the furniture is intact, strong, in the toilet the plumbing is working, clean, no cockroaches and beetles. Rooms with balconies, we overlooked the sea from the 7th floor (very nice).

The beach is white sand with a smooth entry into the sea. As it turned out later - one of the most successful beaches on the coast.
The animation is rather weak, but when there are such cool excursions, what for it is needed.
As for the staff - in general, they are excellent guys: friendly, helpful, though spoiled by the Americans, who tip them for any reason.
You will meet quite a few vacationers with children, but I wouldn’t take my daughter there - it’s too noisy and unleashed (in a good adult sense), besides, there are no playgrounds and, if I’m not mistaken, animations.

Our guide Faryan (Fedya in Russian, knows Russian very well, which is not typical for those places, some don’t even know English) helped fill out hotel cards, got the key and go to the room! The first impression (there is something to compare) from the hotel is GOD, THIS IS A HOSTEL! Long corridors and rooms, rooms! And everything is so primitive! And we chose the hotel - wow, meticulously and for a long time, and we were persuaded to it, because the level meets our requirements and most importantly BEACH (Where you can swim !!!! ). Room-terrible-14th floor from the balcony you can’t see anything, they have a beam on the 14th floor that covers all the beauty of the view from which the eye rejoices and the soul sings! But the issue was resolved, we changed the room and LIFE began! As it turned out (according to conversations with tourists from other hotels, that we have one of the best hotels on the coast of Cancun, is included in the top 5 hotels) - at the reception there are a huge number of certificates, awards to the hotel. And then we realized that there is such a style here, simple, but soundly! The food is excellent! Seafood every evening and in any form and in great abundance! And the evenings dedicated to different cuisines of the world! ! You will lick your fingers. And fruits, you can eat them! They have a smell, taste! Many thanks to the chef of this hotel! And above the mini bar there are bottles of alcohol upside down with a dispenser - I don’t want to drink! There are three beaches on the territory where you can lie down, sunbathe and, most importantly, swim !! ! Because there are practically no waves here, the island of women takes them on a little and they almost do not reach, and those that have nailed only please! You stand in the water and there is such a slap on the pope and you fly somersault in the waves - it's great! I don't understand all those people who hang out by the pools! The horror-smell of bleach and they sit there for days! Cocktails for every taste! to a completely different country, look at their way of life, culture, history! Fascinating! A lot makes you think, take a closer look, stop and sort out your attitude to life on the shelves! Time flew by, for the first time in my life I didn’t want to leave! This vacation was a success! !
