Good afternoon! I want to share my impressions of my vacation in Mexico. The hotel was chosen on the principle that it would be close to the sea and not very big. In Cancun, almost all hotels are on the beach. Maybe even on the shore of the lagoon, but there are not many of them. They didn't go wrong with the location. The hotel is located at the beginning of the hotel zone, because the sea is constantly rough, so swimming is not very comfortable. But if you walk 500-600 meters along the beach, then there will be a quiet backwater formed by a cape protruding into the sea. You can safely swim, even with children. The beach itself is good, sand, but some hotels have stones, so you need to be careful when choosing a beach. The hotel consists of three buildings, but there are not many rooms. Rooms with sea and lagoon views. Clean spacious. The room has two double beds, TV, kettle, fridge. Some complain about the lack of internet, but I was happy to be able to take a break from the world wide web. There is Internet, it is paid (I think 100 pesos) per hour (1 dollar = 12.5 pesos), decide for yourself whether it is expensive or not. The food is good. There is a buffet restaurant with custom meals. Honestly, they were not in the order. If you go there, it's an evening in a restaurant, and you want to spend the evening more actively. You can eat from 7.00 am to 5.00 am the next day. Alcohol from 10.00 to 24.00. There is a pool bar, there is also a waiter who will bring the order to the beach. The hotel is a little far from the center, but you almost don’t expect round-the-clock transport (8.5 pesos). The shops have a lot of all sorts of souvenir nonsense, there are branded shops with the corresponding price. Since we were not interested in clothes, there is not much to say. I think from Mexico the whole plane was carrying only tequila. By the way, this hotel was chosen by Aeroflot as a crew rest. So we rested with our crew, he brought us and delivered back. There are no complaints about Aeroflot, the meeting company is good. Be sure to go on excursions. They are certainly expensive, but worth it. There is a trip to the Xploer amusement park, we liked it. The day flew by like a minute. The only disappointment from the trip is our travel agency "Neva". We booked a tour in St. Petersburg, and flew out of Moscow. Since we are regular customers of the Neva (we simply don’t have any others in the city), our old international passports are in the database, which they stuffed into the air tickets. It's good that there was an office in Moscow. But the first answer was "they were issued in St. Petersburg, bring it down there. " Or cancel the trip, the money will be returned. I almost hugged my wife. In general, I realized that after I paid for the tour, you are not interested in the tour operator. After swearing, calls and threats, they said that a "person" would arrive in the evening, who would fix everything. In the end, it happened, but the gray hair increased. A brief summary - Mexico is great (I compare it with India, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Italy for sea holidays), plus it is informative and interesting in historical terms. Minus the long flight!
