We stayed at the hotel from 08/12/2011 to 08/22/2011. We flew from Kyiv with AirArabia airline, economy class flight, food is not included in the price, but there is a "Cafe" on board where you can buy lunch, sandwiches, drinks, the most expensive lunch costs $9, tea, coffee, juice - $3, water $1 . Flight Kyiv - Sharjah took 5 hours, docking only 1 hour, barely managed, because. in Kyiv, the flight was delayed for 30 minutes. Flight Sharjah - Colombo was 4.5 hours, docking - 4 hours, flight Colombo - Male - only 1 hour. We were met at the airport by hotel representatives, we were transferred to the seaport, where we were waiting for departure to the island by seaplane, where we were offered to fill out questionnaires for hotel accommodation. The seaplane flight is very impressive: the pearls of the islands fly through the clouds below, it is so mesmerizing that you do not notice the time. We splashed down right at the pier, where we were met by the Russian-speaking guide Marina, which was a pleasant surprise. We were escorted to reception where we were greeted with cold towels and cocktails. The placement took about 15-20 minutes. We were settled in house number 248, this is the very first house near the pier where planes land. maybe such a neighborhood scares someone, but it didn’t hurt us at all, and it’s very cool to watch the planes. From the same pier, on the right, a dam begins, which stretches along the northern part of the island, it is made of sandbags, everywhere there are inscriptions "Do not walk on the dam", but everyone ignores this, and in vain. One morning I decided to take pictures of crabs, of which a huge number lives on the dam and they are practically not afraid of people. I went along the dam, and the ocean was a little stormy, and the water was flooding onto the dam, and at one moment I felt that my legs were moving in different directions ; the fact is that the dam is covered with a coating that, when wet, looks like jelly, so that if you carelessly stand naked from a run, you can fall and be crippled. It will not work to get around the island along the coast, because. in some part, the water reaches right to the middle of the foundation of the houses, and in the southern part, the passage is limited by a fence along the territory of the water forks. I recommend visiting an exotic village, where there is an amazing island with fabulous benches and a table for lovers, flower beds and trees are very beautifully decorated, a beautiful landscape for photos. At first we thought that our accommodation was "not great", but when we walked further along the dam. then they realized that our place is not so bad, there is much worse: there is practically no water at the doorstep of the house and there is no beach at all, you can only sunbathe on the terrace or go to another beach.
About ALL food: this is not Turkey, but you will not be hungry, everyone can choose dishes for themselves, themed dinners are held several times a week: Italian, Mexican. Maldivian, there was even a Russian party, desserts were beyond praise, with fruits it was somehow not very good, mostly apples, melons, watermelons, sometimes passion fruit, papaya, bananas, but I would like it the other way around.
There are two swimming pools on the territory of the island: one - for general use, and the second - in an exotic village.

In the evenings, there is live music in the main bar, two girls sing well, and also good non-alcoholic cocktails.
But the main reason why everyone goes to the Maldives is the ocean and snorkeling, this replaces all the inconveniences that you see upon arrival. The best snork near the south pier and water bungalows, the underwater world is mesmerizing with its beauty, it cannot be described - you must see it at least once. We saw a turtle, a huge jellyfish, an octopus, a moray eel and many, many different fish. Be sure to bring a camera for underwater photography. If you are going to snorkel, wear a T-shirt - this will help you not to burn out, preferably a cream with higher protection.
Paying in cash is not enough, everyone writes down to your number, in the evening before departure you need to pay at the bank at the reception, the keys must be handed over at 12-00. So the rest is over, and now home to everyday affairs.
