Accommodation: we had a classic room, one-story bungalows for two rooms, they were the very first built on the island, so the location is the best - the best part of the beach is yours (north side, reef, cliff). Although in the description of the hotel it was said that in the rooms there is a classic air conditioning for an extra charge. fee, it turned out to be untrue, the conder was free. Whoever chooses a classic - I advise you to take bar soap from home, only liquid soap in the room, which is not always convenient. Cleaning 2 times a day, if you want towels changed every day - throw them on the floor, room-boy will understand. If the towels hang in their places, then you are for the environment and do not want to change them. This is stated in the memo on the wall of the bathroom. If you brought food to your room, and even more so if you are going to eat on the veranda, be prepared for the fact that any fallen crumb will attract millions of ants, and the crows will beg very aggressively. Therefore, we never feed any living creatures while in the Maldives, this can disrupt the natural way of life of the local inhabitants. The rooms are old, but the management constantly plays tricks on them, so they look good. As for the bird's hubbub - a rather loud roll call begins at dawn, but somehow it does not cause rejection, it all sounds very organic, and does not irritate at all through a dream.
Entertainment: they are not here, in the Egyptian sense of the word, at all. This is what makes the Maldivian vacation so valuable. I will express my opinion about the essence of such a holiday - if you want to forget about shoes, about phone calls, the Internet, negative news, if you want to feel like a part of the surrounding nature - you are here. If you can dissolve in the world around you and hang out for hours watching the life collisions of unrealistically colored psychedelic underwater inhabitants - this is yours. And on the other hand, if a poorly functioning outlet, a queue for soup in a restaurant, the absence of animators, bird chimes, the receptionist’s ignorance of the Russian language, coral fragments thrown onto the beach by a storm, the inability to wear an evening dress taken with you, hairpins and jewelry for dinner can overshadow your vacation and spoil your mood until departure - do not go here. Better to Egypt.
I advise: Get up early, at dawn, immediately into the water, in the morning you can see those and what you won’t see during the day - this will be a workout and an appetite that will be brutal.
After breakfast - to the beach and into the water, the sun in the morning is the most pleasant. After dinner, until 3 you can sit, and then - again into the water, until sunset. After dinner - you can sit in the bar, you can walk along the shore with a flashlight, kick the glowing plankton. And if you really swam all day, then at 10 o’clock you will be turned off. Anticipating all sorts of objections - I myself am a "night owl" - I can go to bed at home even at 3 am, it's always hard to get up in the morning. But in the Maldives, the body gladly accepts the above regimen, and most importantly, it is not boring to relax with such a regimen)))
And yet, most importantly - Mask, fins, snorkel - here you need them, without snorkeling and diving, 70% of the Maldives will remain unknown to you, and your vacation will be incomplete.
