The nature on the island is very beautiful, and the atmosphere is such that every morning you wake up and enjoy life.
Rested in Filitheo island resort from 27.05 - 10.06 in deluxe villa №12. I was very worried that I was going out of season. But we can say we were lucky with the weather, there were only three days of bad weather.
The territory of the island is small, they clean it well (but not everywhere, there is a lot of territory where it is full of rotten coconuts and leaves), everyone goes barefoot (even to a restaurant).
In the Maldives for the first time, I read from reviews that the food is excellent. Every man to his own taste. Asian cuisine, you get used to it in a couple of days. The choice of food is small, but you can always find something for yourself, the food is monotonous. Fruits, sliced cheeses, fish, meat are cut by the cook and give everyone a piece (funny).
The prices for drinks, in my opinion, are inadequate and plus 18% taxes for each price (this was annoying, can’t they be added to the cost of a drink right away):
- water 0.5 l (not mineral, but simply purified, not hermetically sealed in glass bottles) 1.75 $ + 18%, a glass of wine and beer 6 $ + 18%.
The beach is amazing, clean well. Before lunch, low tide is knee-deep water (this is not a hindrance for snorkeling), and high tide in the afternoon. After dinner they always wear coconuts.
Of the aquatic inhabitants, I saw a lot of beautiful fish, a shark and a titat triger fish that attacked me, they bite corals and crabs with their teeth - I got off with a slight fright.
In general, a wonderful holiday, do not pay attention to the little things.
