St. Regis Mauritius. Rested in March, the hotel is new, very nicely built. The service is still very unstable, they try very hard, but there are a lot of annoying overlays. When checking in, they immediately try to give the worst rooms. You need to get a pre-confirmed number. We never achieved it, although in 4 months we ordered 3 rooms at once for families with children.

The budget for the trip was huge, they counted on a paradise vacation, especially in such a respectable network. They kept us for 7 hours with three small children in the heat, they made different promises, five different managers came, we told our problem five times, they promised to solve everything, but in the end they didn’t solve anything - they couldn’t find previously confirmed numbers. They offered a room with a smell of sewage or mold and were surprised that we did not agree : -) All this was very disappointing. Settled without a sea view, on the second floor. However, the hotel was not full. In general, half of the rooms in the hotel have no or limited sea views and are located on the second floor. You should know it. Direct access to the garden and the beach have rooms located only on the ground floor. Otherwise, you have to wade through the bushes. The rooms are large and nice, new and well designed. For Internet in the room you have to pay extra 3500 rubles, while it practically does not work. The territory and the beach are without greenery, there is absolutely no shade and nowhere to hide from the wind. . And the winds are very strong. The bathing area is limited by buoys and is only 5-10 meters wide from the shore. There are a lot of corals and sharp stones, you need to wear special protective slippers. Not suitable for holidays with children. The food is delicious but expensive. Light snack at lunch on the beach with a bottle of wine 5000 rubles. There is no buffet or buffet in the hotel even for dinner. Food is served tediously and for a long time on a small menu in three restaurants. There are no offers of fresh and inexpensive seafood at all. Dessert waited 45 minutes. Dinner takes at least 2 hours in this mode. The breakfast lacks tables in the shade outside and offers to take a table in a room so dark that the electric light is on

Vacationing with family at The St. Regis Mauritius Resort in January 2013. We are seasoned travelers and have seen a lot of beautiful hotels, but this one simply charmed us with everything: a beautiful room with a magnificent veranda, an impeccable beach seven steps from the room, a huge pool, good food - varied and tasty.

Very attentive, personalized service, highly skilled workers. I would like to give special thanks to Ranjeet Rampadaruth. We have never met a more sensitive and humane worker at the resorts. He helped us resolve all issues when our son needed urgent medical care. A very decent hotel. Didn't want to leave at all. Recommended! Palamarchuk family. Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk
