I really enjoyed my holiday in Mauritius. . . even when approaching the island, there are a lot of impressions - volcanic mountain cones, tropical greenery and a green-turquoise lagoon around, white waves near the reefs, just a lost world! The hotel settled in a two-story villa with 4 rooms, the room itself is not very large, but the bathroom is no smaller than the actual room, a shower, a jacuzzi, a dressing room with an iron and ironing board, two sinks, a separate toilet. There is a kettle in the room, you can drink tea and coffee, TV - only one Russian channel works. . . a wonderful open terrace, where there is a large corner sofa, a table, it is very pleasant to lie in the pillows. the whole territory is divided into streets, each street has its own swimming pool, there are practically no people, sunbeds are free at the countless pools, on the beach by the ocean. The lagoon is a separate song, there are no waves there, huge waves foam in the distance, where the reef passes. When the tide is out, the water is waist-deep, at high tide - up to the neck, it is comfortable to swim. There are corals, grass comes across, we constantly swam with a mask, saw moray eels, very large flute fish constantly accompanied us, there are quite a lot of sea urchins, a lot of beautiful large shells with crabs and clams. Almost almost everything that was seen in Egypt in Sharm is also present here. Once a sea snake swam out from under my feet, which is not very pleasant. . . Returning to the hotel - the service is just super, every evening thematic cuisine is French, Spanish, Creole, Southeast Asian (Japanese and Thai), etc. The staff is very polite, smiles, ready to fulfill your every desire, they don’t give a plate on the table bring. Quite expensive at the spa, $110 for a relaxing massage for example. In the evening in the main restaurant of wine from 60 euros per bottle, there are French, South African, Australian, Chilean. The territory is very well-groomed, everything blooms and smells sweet, the birds sing. Especially my heart was won by birds with a tuft, so gentle and careful, they sing very melodiously. In Arabic they are called bul-bul (nightingale), in French peak-peak. We spent two days on excursions, took a minibus with a Russian-speaking guide and traveled all over the island with our family, very convenient.
