Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For families with children; For recreation with friends, for young people
When I found out that there are schools of the largest international centers for teaching English in Malta, I had my first thoughts about the trip. My ten-year-old daughter studies at an international gymnasium, and everything related to English is certainly important to us. And what could be better than communicating with native speakers who do not speak Russian. Well, and if at the same time you can relax on the sea ? ! The sea, combined with the English, solved the problem of choosing a place for a precious vacation.
On the recommendation of friends, I turned to English Holidays LLC and the agency staff were very helpful in organizing our trip. Agency employees in Malta, at my request, took pictures of hotels, offered excursions, helped me choose a school, and there are quite a few of them, but in some they teach only from the age of 16, in some there is no opportunity for parents with children to live, some are poorly located. A lot of work was done, we received whole reports with photos, prices and, most importantly, comments from eyewitnesses.
As a result, when we arrived, we were placed at the La Valette Resort Hotel in a room with windows overlooking the hotel's patio. It was very successful, because the hotel is located in the most party place on Pachvila and in the rooms with windows facing the street it was very noisy at night, but we are quiet and calm. In the room we had a small kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, dishes, kettle. We didn’t like the breakfast at first, and the opportunity to have coffee in the room was very helpful. The EU school we chose was opposite the entrance to the hotel, which means there were no problems in the mornings when we didn’t particularly want to drag ourselves somewhere. While my daughter was at school in the morning, I reached the beach in 10 minutes (sandy, which is not often found in Malta) and swam. On the way back I bought water and fruit.

In the afternoon we mostly explored Malta. In the early days by car. And then we found out that there is a bus station 10 minutes walk from the hotel, and you can get anywhere by bus for ridiculous money.
