Just returned from vacation : -) I'll start with the fact that we were in Montenegro for the first time. Before that, we went several times to Turkey, Egypt, Thailand... After Thailand, we considered a trip to Montenegro as a week-long vacation for a "tick" in our travels. When choosing hotels and villas, I looked through all the reviews and I confess that none of us were impressed. Therefore, we decided not to overpay for AL Inc hotels and meals and choose apartments in a villa. At the same time, having read the reviews, I set up the whole company of 5 people that we were going on vacation almost to the Crimea, with the same service, culture, only with the Adriatic Sea. And so we flew to Tivat. I met the operator Pilon, they quickly transported the guests to the hotels by bus. We were brought to Petrovac last. The hostess of the villa met us from the bus and we walked down the metro 100 down a steep street to our villa. The hostess immediately settled us, told - showed where the beach, shops, markets - everything turned out to be very close 5-10 minutes walk. The villa itself is very comfortable and new. All rooms are nice with new bright orange furniture. Each room has a bed, a wardrobe, bedside tables, a kitchenette with a stove, a refrigerator, necessary utensils, a bathroom, a hair dryer, a beautiful balcony with a table and chairs. . . In general, the rooms are good. Our company had 3 separate rooms - they are all different, but each was nice and comfortable. One of the rooms even had a washing machine. My husband and I had an apartment under number 5 on the 3rd floor - a double-sided room, with two balconies. One of the balconies had a beautiful view of the sea. Therefore, if you have a choice - take number 5, you will not regret it : -)).
Petrovac itself is a very beautiful, green, well-groomed town. The central beach is with red pebbles, a good promenade along which there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops. There are a lot of people on the central beach. We went to the nearby beach - Lucice. I recommend to everyone!!! ! This beach is smaller, in a small oasis bay. Ahead of the azure sea - and majestic mountains on the sides....Beauty !!!! ! There are fewer people on this beach. Walking distance from our villa - 15 min. In general, the beaches are good, the sea is gorgeous. But I immediately warn you that the beaches are really crowded during the season. We were from June 11 to 18 - the beginning of the season and at the end of our holiday the beaches became more and more crowded. We still managed to enjoy the beauty and cleanliness : -)) but I think that after June 20 and until the end of August Montenegrin beaches will really resemble Yalta.
For young people in the evenings there is nothing to do but walk along the promenade, play tennis (court until 19.00 for 10 euros, after 19 for 15 euros an hour) and dine in restaurants. Petrovac is a quiet, cozy, beautiful town without noisy, cheerful disco bars and festivities until the morning. More suitable for family holidays or with a company.

We dined at the Pod Lozom restaurant. We really enjoyed. Cozy, green, cool restaurant with good food and service. The prices are also very loyal. For example, lunch cost 6 euros: first, salad, dessert and a choice of meat or fish dish with a side dish. The portions are big and tasty. My husband and I always took 1 lunch for 2.
In the evening, you can eat on the Embankment, or cook dinner in your villa. Volya store has everything you need. Meat, dairy products, vegetables, fruits, etc. All products are at the same price as we have in Kyiv. Some fruits are very tasty - cherries, strawberries, cherries... juicy, sweet, large - not like ours. From vegetables, tomatoes were pleasantly surprised - very tasty !! ! But pepper - no. Good meat. For lovers of fish and seafood, there is of course not much choice and, unfortunately, it is expensive.
For example, a kilogram of raw fresh tiger prawns costs 20 euros.
Since we were 7 days, we decided to spend 2 days on travel and excursions. Day 1 - Excursion to Dubrovnik. For me personally, the journey to Dubrovnik through Boka, the Kator Bay, Kotor, the ferry, etc. , I liked more than Dubrovnik itself. In the Old part of Dubrovnik, where we were brought, it is hot, stuffy... the sun is scorching and there is no place to hide... Plus there are crowds of tourists, you almost have to push through them. 1-hour guided tour of the old town and 3 hours of free time - wandering in the sun through the narrow streets of the Old Town, looking out for souvenirs and good restaurants... But it's like for me - the rest of our company liked Dubrovnik very much... In general, for an amateur . It seems to me that you can safely rent a car and go on this tour on your own without a guide.

Our second trip was by car. We rented it for 1 day and decided to drive around on our own. The beauty!!! ! Our route was through BAR - a beautiful, old fortress on a mountain; Ultsyn, Velikou Beach - a huge semi-desert, sandy beach, as if in a desert; Vladimir; along Skadar Lake to Virpazar - THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPES!! ! I have never seen such beauty! But I want to warn you right away that the road is high-altitude, narrow (about 3.5 meters) with characteristic sharp turns - the driver must be ready to follow the road, not the beauty of nature. But it's worth it!! ! ; Virpazar - a beautiful town on the lake, where you can take a boat and ride; there are restaurants - here I took my soul with fish dishes. Very tasty, fresh. . .
Then we drove to Cetinje - again a narrow steep road through Rijeka. View - as in the picture. Unforgettable beauty!! ! On the way, on the pavement, we met 2 more snakes having a rest. For them, here is paradise - warm, there is fresh water and mountains ! ! Nature almost untouched by man, incredible beauty!!!
in Cetinje we looked at the monastery, the King's House and went to Budva and home to Petrovac.
Lastly, I just want to add that the only unpleasant nuance that surfaced on the day of departure was check-out at 10.00 in the morning. Despite the fact that the bus to the airport picks up at 13.30. This is Pilon's shortcoming and shortcoming. I tried to ask the hostess to let us have a jota room at 12, but she phoned our guide from Pilon and said that this was not realistic, since other guests would already be at her place at 11. In general, Pilon acted not quite correctly. Therefore, pay attention, and try to settle this moment immediately upon arrival. We managed to agree with the hostess and check out at 11.
In general, Montenegro is a wonderful country, the nature is very beautiful, there is a lot of greenery, high mountains - a paradise for photographers. Petrovac is a good town. Villa Andric is a nice, comfortable villa. By the way, not 4 *, not 2. And she deserves them. I recommend!
