City of hundreds of steps and flowers
The city of Herceg Novi is unique primarily because it is located on a mountain, and in order to get to the old city, you need to overcome many, even a lot of steps. So be patient, wear good shoes and panama : ) We got to this city in the very heat, the sun drove you crazy and melted everything around, tourists sluggishly moved from one cafe to another. . . but I strongly recommend you to pull yourself together and still climb up. . . The strong influence of the Turks is felt in the city. It does not look like either Cetinje or Budva - it has its own, special European face. The city has a very rich vegetation, it is simply buried in greenery. If you want to eat in the city, find the "Tri Lipe" restaurant in the old center and order lunch there. The restaurant is popular and there are always many visitors. The portions here are huge and very tasty, they serve properly cooked local dishes in a homely atmosphere, highly recommend! Well, you can see the best views from the Kanli-Kule fortress, do not be too lazy to go up there - the view of the sea, yachts, ships and roofs of houses is mesmerizing. In general, the city is small, pretty and very cozy, with its own special atmosphere and color. I really liked it.
