Hotel Plaza in Herceg Novi. The locals call it Plaja. We stayed at this hotel in the first half of September 2011. The declared category is three stars. The hotel management is clearly flattering itself. Wouldn't give more than two stars. The hotel is divided into three blocks (buildings) - A, B, C. Block C. There is NO air conditioning, refrigerator, TV in the room. On the table is an old telephone. Doesn't work, just stands (probably as an interior item). Communication is generally poor, including mobile. Bathroom in deep cracks. There is a balcony. Half of the rooms in block C with a good sea view. They say Block A has been refurbished. There are air conditioners (not in all rooms). They say some air conditioners even work. Like there are TVs and mini-fridges. Accommodation in block A is the most expensive. Nutrition. Breakfasts are disgusting. Every day is the same. Coffee is a rare slop. It is difficult to make tea, because there is only hot water in teapots, tea is not really brewed. The milk is powdered, poorly cooked and very dilute. There are no teaspoons. Sugar in a cup is proposed to be stirred with a tablespoon. Better with dinner. Edible, but: either the rice is undercooked, or the vegetables are overcooked, or the casserole is overdried. The chef is clearly incompetent. The hotel has a gym (surcharge). Well equipped, including many treadmills. There is also an aerobics room, mats, step platforms, but there is no instructor (they say he was in the summer months). The beach is a concrete platform, there are handrails for descending into the water. Nearby is a part of the pebble beach. Sun loungers, umbrellas for an additional fee. The attendants practically do not speak foreign languages. He does not bother himself with creating comfort for the guests (they speak loudly, work noisily). The air, the sea, the coast itself are wonderful. The country is beautiful. You can go to Croatia (10 minutes by bus to the border). People, if in addition to natural conditions, the comfort of living is important to you, choose ANOTHER HOTEL!! !
