Budva in October (photo)
Despite all the doubts, the rest in Budva in early October turned out to be wonderful. During the day, the air temperature reached + 25 degrees, although in the evenings it was cool + 17-19 degrees. Sea water is clean, refreshing, too, + 20-22 degrees. The beauty!
Budva itself is a rather small city, although it is considered the largest tourist center on the Montenegrin coast. You can walk from end to end of the city in half an hour. There are several beaches in Budva, the longest of them is Slavic. When hoteliers say that their hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, the distance is measured from it. Many scold the "Slavic Beach", they say, it's dirty, there are a lot of people, there is nowhere for an apple to fall. But, believe me, in early October, this is not a beach - but a fairy tale. The places are full! And what are these "paid beds"? ; ) Well, except perhaps next to the beach bars, and those are "for food" or even "for a drink" (a cup of "Turkish coffee" costs 1 euro - and your sunbed : ). Prices in the "velvet season", if they "fall", then only for souvenirs of dubious quality in coastal shops. Everything else, in my opinion, keeps at the price level of the "season".
I definitely liked Budva, and indeed the whole of Montenegro in early October. I miss! : )
